Leftwing Idiot regularly plays reggae in The Gowlett on Sundays and I was there this evening enjoying the music.

In between tunes a man struck up a conversation with him:

Man: Is your friend deaf?
Leftwing Idiot: What?
Man: Is she deaf or something?
Leftwing Idiot: No, she’s got Tourettes which means her body sometimes moves in ways she can’t control.
Man: So something then.

There certainly isn’t anything the matter with my hearing, I was sitting some distance away and in spite of the music, I could still hear exactly what they were saying.
