Every year we ask an illustrator whose work we love, to create an image for our Christmas card. If they’re up for it we send them a shortlist of festive tics and let them choose the one they like best. After that, it’s over to them and we use whatever fantastic artwork they create.…

It was dark when I woke, but I could hear the gentle chatter of people in the kitchen downstairs. I tugged the curtains and a small crack turned into a cascade of light. Through the window I could see hundreds of houses in the valley below, arranged in neat rows, tiny, cuddled together under a huge clear sky.…

I woke suddenly at 5.15 this morning and it wasn’t from the rain on the tent or the noise of Festival revellers outside. It was a text from Fat Sister, who’s joining us at Glastonbury later today. Her text said simply: “It’s all fucked!”…

A week ago I got back to the UK after a month-long tour of North America. This afternoon I left the castle again and headed off on another adventure, this time at Worthy Farm in Somerset.
