Haikus
A few days ago I was watching one of those TV panel shows and the subject of haikus came up. They’re short poems made up of just seventeen syllables, five in the first line, seven in the second and five again in the third.…

On June 27th 2011, Leftwing Idiot and Poppy came back from the Glastonbury Festival. I’d spent the weekend stuck in my old lair, unable to go up or down the stairs safely. My mobility had been deteriorating for much of that year but I’d been struggling on, trying to ignore the increasing difficulty I was having with getting about.…
Exactly a week ago our Kickstarter Campaign came to a triumphant end. We’d successfully raised all the money we needed to take our show, Backstage In Biscuit Land, to the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
Everyone who backed us was able to choose rewards, and these will be sent out later in the year.…

All of a sudden I’ve found myself noticing amazing details that I’ve never seen before at the tops of buildings. For example, I was in Covent Garden the other day and looked up to see a sheep’s head carved into the side of a familiar building, looking down at everyone on the ground.…
Amazing news! We’ve hit our Kickstarter target. This means we’ll definitely be going to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August with Backstage in Biscuit Land.
Hitting our target’s been a huge relief – I had no idea how anxious the whole process was going to make me!…
