I’ve written countless times about Leftwing Idiot’s geranium. About shouting at it, singing to it, teasing it and, most recently, caring for it while he was away for the summer. Several weeks ago he eventually took it back, leaving me with an empty window ledge. Well almost….
One of its stems was damaged and wouldn’t have made it back to his flat intact so I broke it off. I put it in water for a few days before deciding to see what would happen if I planted it. I had no idea if it would survive.
Almost a month on it seems to be doing very well and I felt a rush of pride today when I noticed it had got bigger.
At last I have my own geranium. I’ll keep you posted on our progress, both how it grows and how my tics respond to it.
Be warned – we’re entering a whole new age of geranium posts.
