Thankfully my night time support worker heard the unusual noises I was making and came to help. As I settled back down to sleep I realised that this is happening more and more often and that though my buzzer’s always near me it’s been quite a while since I’ve been able to move enough to press it.
Yesterday I came up with a potential solution. I attached some Velcro to the buzzer and made a wristband out of it. This means I can wear the buzzer at night, and that pressing it requires a much smaller and simpler movement.
I tested it out last night and so far so good.
