Poppy and I were together in the bathroom brushing our teeth just now. She’s got electric toothbrush and mine’s manual. I had to stop using electric toothbrushes when I started whacking myself over the head with them. Even an ordinary toothbrush sometimes poses a hazard.

Tonight though, you might’ve thought we were both using electric brushes, because both were buzzing away loudly. Poppy’s because it’s battery operated and mine because it’s operated by me – I was ticcing the noise of the electric brush.

Sometimes Tourettes is just silly.
