According to an online dictionary a scattergram is a type of graph or way of displaying data. Why I’ve started shouting, ‘Scattergram!’ during most of my ticcing fits is anyone’s guess. It doesn’t seem to have a specific meaning like, ‘Nissan Micra’, which is Tourettes for ‘Goodnight’, or ‘Woof,’ which mainly means ‘Yes.’

But I think there’s a bigger question: Why on earth has Tourettes decided that the original words won’t do and replaced them with random animal noises, models of car, and statistical terminology?
