During my physio appointment this afternoon I was fitted with the new ankle supports that the orthotics department prescribed recently. They fit inside my trainers and are made of hard moulded plastic, which runs up either side of my ankle, held in place with Velcro. They’ve made a big difference, I can feel my foot trying to tic but, thanks to the splint, it can’t. The only problem so far is that I keep sticking my legs out, making shooting noises, and calling them ‘leg lasers!’
