I’ve been wearing my superhero suit out and about all day. I’m used to people staring at me and laughing, so I wasn’t that fazed by the idea of travelling around London in my outfit. Interestingly, most people were more friendly and willing to talk to me than they are when I’m disguised in normal clothes.…

I’ve just returned to the lair after an amazing photo shoot. The photographer, Sam, was great. I felt surprisingly comfortable being photographed by him and I can’t wait to see the results. Posing with Tourettes is unpredictable and my plans for how I’ll look or move are often sabotaged by my tics.…

I met Laura for dinner this evening. She told me more about how the young people she teaches were getting on with the Touretteshero project. Her students are producing artwork in response to my tics as part of their GCSE art course.…

Images inspired by tics have been streaming into the lair all day. It’s exciting to see what people are creating in response to things I’ve said. Particular highlights so far include an oozing sponge cake in underwear, a ferret having trouble with scissors, and a very fast penis.…

This evening Cassetteboy emailed me a rough version of the Touretteshero theme. Essentially, it’s me ticcing away over a specially made track. Cassetteboy’s done an amazing job cutting up and rearranging my tics to the beat – it’s very funny and reflects the oddness of Tourettes.

This evening I travelled over the river to my friend Jamie’s studio to record some tics for Cassetteboy’s Touretteshero theme.
