Yesterday afternoon I went with Fat Sister, King Russell and Poppy to a UK Uncut demonstration against the proposed Health and Social Care Bill. The Bill is due in the House of Lords later this week, and if it were passed it would lead to the break up and privatisation of the NHS.…

I sometimes risk doing things, which I know could easily end in disaster because of a tic. Occasionally it’s because I’m feeling self-conscious and don’t want to stand out any more than I do already. For example, using normal cutlery in a restaurant rather than the plastic set I carry around with me.…

My new lair officially became mine earlier today. I picked up the keys this afternoon and along with Bunny and Poppy headed off to let myself into my new home for the first time. We bought smoothies from a nearby café and sat on my living room floor to enjoy them.…

Poppy moved out of Leftwing Idiot’s flat today where we’ve both been staying since we moved out of the lair last month. Her new flat isn’t far away and I’m glad she’s been able to get settled before she heads back to college.…

Poppy and I headed back to London this morning. We’ve had an amazing couple of days in the countryside around Glastonbury – and I’ve brought a fair bit of countryside back with me. Two days of dropping to the floor on dusty tracks or flailing about in hedgerows has meant I’m a bit grubby.…
