As a child he had tics and as a teenager he used to ‘squeak and flap’ as my dad describes it, so it’s strange I haven’t talked to him much about Tourettes before, given that it’s thought to be genetic.…

Last week I had Botox injections in the back of my neck with the aim of weakening the muscles there and preventing my head tics causing permanent damage. But my neck’s more painful now than it was before.

Tonight I went to see Shakira at the O2 Arena with Laura, Emma and her sister Lucy. The venue has a policy of removing the tops from all bottles inside the venue. They do this to make them less likely to hurt someone if they get thrown.…

The world has been saved. Despite heavy snow, more than forty young heroes and their families made it for the first Touretteshero Superhero Party. The amazing Touretteshero support team provided a warm welcome and helped the children transform themselves into their superhero identities.…
