Tonight I was out in town with Ruth and Catherine who both have Tourettes. At the first pub we went to we were ID’d, not to prove our ages but to prove we had Tourettes.

Tonight a new tic emerged and it’s literally “Amazing!”

I’ve had a busy day travelling across the city to meet up with various friends. I had dinner by the river and went to Ollie and Karen’s post-wedding party. It’s been a fun day shared with lots of different people.

Last night I tried taking the drug. Melatonin is a natural compound that my doctor’s prescribed to help me sleep. It normally takes me a couple of hours to settle and get to sleep but it was much quicker last night.…

I’m just about to head off to bed. Recently my tics have been interfering with my sleep in a massive way. Getting to sleep has always been a problem but my tics haven’t been repeatedly waking me up throughout the night in the way they are at the moment.…

I’ve started ticcing, “Cheese” a lot. It’s been creeping in over the last month or two but it’s suddenly gone crazy and I’m saying it all the time. Leftwing Idiot hates it – he thinks it’s boring and not funny. He says he’ll never tire of “I’m a baby”, which I’m currently saying with an Italian accent.…

I was with Poppy this morning while she was looking @ParisHilton Twitter timeline. All of a sudden she started laughing and said, “Paris’s dog is called Baby Bear.”

What’s particularly funny about this is that I’ve ticced a lot about Paris and her dog before and “Baby bear” is a regular tic.…

Leftwing Idiot and I went to Acton this afternoon to record an interview with the silky-voiced Alex Newman. When we arrived at the Live Talk studio Alex and I talked about a range of hot topics but rather than ignore my tics as we would normally, we let them lead our conversation.…

A few months ago I wrote about the mysterious marks that keep appearing on my face. Another turned up this morning and as always, it’s identical to the previous ones, in the same place and perfectly horizontal.

While they’re not deep, they’re quite sizeable scratches and because I don’t understand how they’re getting there I’m finding it very confusing.
