Saying ‘Yes’ To Soup

After we’d been to the theatre last night Will and I went to a Thai café in Waterloo. We had to wait for a table but I’ve been there before so knew it would be worth it.

When we were seated we studied the menu carefully. I really fancied a soup but knew this would get messy unless I had plenty of help with it.

I used to worry about eating in public and getting food all over the place. So, I’d probably have ordered something less tricky to eat. But tonight I didn’t give it a second thought and asked Will if he’d help me, which of course he was totally up for. Having his help didn’t just mean I got to eat what I wanted – it also meant I ate more slowly and enjoyed it even more as a result.
