“Your Days are Numbered, Biscuits.”

As if his life wasn’t biscuity enough already, a couple of days ago Leftwing Idiot went and bought hundreds of them.

The reason for this? Tomorrow we’re having a party to celebrate the publication of my book Welcome to Biscuit Land. It’s an opportunity for us to thank everyone who’s helped with it. The biscuits will be part of a tic-inspired selection of refreshments – there’ll be “Wasabi Milkshake” and a “Pear and Biscuit Tart” as well.

The biscuits are being stored in my room. Since their arrival my tics have been happily talking to them:

Yesterday morning: “Hello and welcome to biscuit room.”
Last night: “Goodnight biscuits.”
This morning: “Good morning my biscuits.”
This evening: “Your days are numbered, biscuits” and “You’re getting eaten in the morning.”

Pear and biscuit tart doesn’t sound too bad but I wouldn’t want to try a wasabi milkshake! My tics are quite good at coming up with bizarre food concoctions too, but my most frequent food-related tic is marmite rather than biscuit, so that’s a distinct theme in the food choices of my tics. Good luck with the party!

OT, have you heard about the Marmife, a spatula-like knife to get those irritating little globs from the bottom of the jar? http://bit.ly/WaN4p2 Wonder if you can use it with jam as well?
