Last night I decided to illustrate one of my tics, ‘Square cheese is the cousin of lychees.’ I would normally use photos to create this sort of image but this time I tried a different approach: I drew it.

I’ve always loved drawing but recently my tics have been making it hard for me to control my hand. However, with perseverance and lots of goes, I managed to do the bits I needed. I scanned them in and cleaned them up and I’m really pleased with it – both because of the way it looks and because I was able to do it at all.
